Netscape has no problems downloading .pdf Adobe Acrobat files. Microsoft Internet Explorer is another story.
RIGHT CLICK...SAVE TARGET AS...CLOSE YOUR BROWSER...READ THE .PDF FILE OFFLINE
Here's a step by step method on how to save a .pdf file to your hard drive and read it offline:
RIGHT CLICK on a .pdf file link. (Use the right hand button on your mouse.)
Choose SAVE TARGET AS from the dialog box that pops up.
Open or create the folder you will use to store
the PDF file. Click on the SAVE button. (Remember where you saved the file.) The download will commence and will take several minutes to complete saving to your hard drive.
Now close your browser, open Adobe Acrobat Reader and click FILE/OPEN and choose the file you saved on your hard drive. |
