Timesaver "Pocket" Route - (File size is 58kb) I call it a "Pocket route" because it fits on one tile. Based on John Allen's classic switching layout, this route was made entirely from default objects. The installation download is less than 60k (that's right KILOBYTES). So far, I've found that despite its small size, the route is lots of fun for switching fans. Two sample activities are included that use only default equipment. Be sure to study the README file for information about installation and coping with the dreaded "Front Coupler" bug and other MSTS problems that this route highlights. SWITCHLIST GENERATOR for TIMESAVER
Switchlist Generator by Steve Davis is the perfect companion for Timesaver switching fans. Switchlist Generator creates activites from an existing template activity. Switchlist Generator provides the option to randomly or selectively pickup/deliver cargo and Switchlist Generator even prints out the Work Orders. First you will need to purchase ($12) and download Switchlist Generator. It is available here: http://www.skylinecomputing.com Next you need to download the Switchlist template for the Timesaver route: TimesaverTemplate.zip Unzip TimesaverTemplate.zip to your \Train Simulator folder. In order to use this template, you will also need to download and install this small patch for the Timesaver route: Unzip into Routes\Timesaver folder (use folder names).
