Fairmont MT-19 "Speeder" Model is Here!

From 1911 to 1991, nearly 73,000 Fairmont motor cars were manufactured. With the widespread switch to Hy-rail vehicles, only a few are in use by railroads today. The North American Railcar Owners Association represents a group of over 1,300 people who own motor cars. NARCOA). NARCOA is dedicated to the preservation and safe, legal operation of railroad equipment, historically used in the maintenance of way.

The MT-19 comes with a detailed cab, sounds and even an engineer figure. This unit is lots of fun to drive.

We are also working on some additional speeder accessories including utility trailers and activities.

IMPROVED COUPLER PATCH - (File size is 7kb) The purpose of this patch is to improve the coupling behavior and reduce the occurance of "Catapult To Orbit" derailments for the speeder and trailers. DEER PATROL - (File size is 8kb) In this MT-19 activity for Marias Pass (Default), the goal is to clear deer off the track before the eastbound Empire Builder passed through. Click here to deer patrol.

Kent Weissinger has created another activity for the MT-19. This activity takes you in your motorcar from the east end of Whitefish yard to Kalispell and is designed for the revised Marias Pass 3.0 route.
